The Los Alamos National Laboratory, located in Los Alamos New Mexico, was founded during World War 2 to centralize the United States nuclear effort unbeknownst to the American public. With the aid of Great Britain and Canada, Los Alamos spearheaded the development of the Manhattan Project, a nuclear disaster whose ramifications have been well ruminated upon by conspiracists the world over.
In the years since the bomb went off in Hiroshima, groundskeepers at Los Alamos have noticed varying degrees of mutation in the wildlife of the region, including tarantulas born with extraneous limbs.
This particular specimen is a gaff, using modern taxidermy techniques it has been made to appear as if it has an extra claw. It may also come with an extra tail-spike, specify when you order.
